Some things come full circle. I grew up in Tenby one of Wales' most beautiful coastal towns and it's where my love of sewing first began. I sewed through the years of raising my children, then life took me into sales, and the needle was set aside for a while.
Then came lockdown. Like so many, I found myself searching for something meaningful to do with my hands and I started making scrubs. That act of making for others reignited everything. I bought my first embroidery machine, and Handmade in Tenby was born.
Since then, I've been slowly building a collection of designs rooted in Welsh culture and the spirit of this place I'm lucky enough to call home. Three beaches on my doorstep, castle walls, colourful harbour houses Tenby has a way of getting under your skin. Every keyring, cushion, and hanging decoration I make carries a little piece of it.
Whether you've visited once and never forgotten it, or Wales runs through your veins I hope something here brings you a little cwtch of joy.
